Terms of Service
1. What Instcare is — and is not
Instcare provides educational health information, human care-companion voice sessions, and coordination of specialist consultations in China. Instcare is not a medical provider: we do not diagnose, prescribe, or treat, and we are never an emergency service. For chest pain, stroke symptoms, severe breathing trouble, or any emergency, call your local emergency services immediately. Information from Instcare never replaces advice from your own physician.
2. Accounts and acceptable use
You must provide accurate information, keep your account secure, and be at least 18 (or use Instcare with a parent or guardian). You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to access other users' data, or use Instcare for unlawful purposes.
3. Products and pricing
- AI Med Care Day Pass — $1 for 24 hours: a one-time payment that unlocks full AI answers for 24 hours after purchase. The Day Pass does not auto-renew — you choose if and when to buy another day.
- Care Companion — $25 per session credit: one credit books one 15-minute voice session with a human companion. Credits never expire.
- China Doctor — from $100 per consultation credit: one credit reserves one specialist-consultation request. We confirm your doctor by email within 24 hours of your request, or ask you for more time slots.
4. Refunds and cancellations
- Refunds are issued as account credits, not cash. When a refund applies, the credit returns to your Instcare wallet, where it never expires and can be rebooked any time.
- Cancelling an appointment yourself: if you cancel a Care Companion session up to 24 hours before its start time, or a China Doctor request before it is confirmed (or a confirmed consultation up to 24 hours before its time), the credit is returned to your wallet automatically.
- Late cancellations and no-shows: cancellations inside the 24-hour window, and appointments you do not attend, consume the credit. No refund or replacement credit is issued for missed appointments.
- If we cannot provide the service: when Instcare cannot find a doctor for your requested times, or we cancel your session for any reason, your credit is returned automatically — and this is the only case where you may instead request a monetary refund of that unused purchase to your original payment method, by emailing contact@instcare.ai within 30 days.
- AI Day Pass payments: each $1 pass covers the 24-hour access period that begins at purchase and is non-refundable once access starts. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
5. Payments
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Prices are shown before checkout in USD. The Stripe webhook confirmation is the source of truth for adding credits to your wallet.
6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instcare's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the specific purchase giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
7. Changes, governing law, and contact
